We will see a lot of Jets Second teamers on Saturday Night

OK, and on to 2010.....I can't wait to see the "Hard Knocks", "Look at me" circus come to town on Saturday. Luckily, my local CBS affiliate has the game covered for Saturday. I hope the Jets bring the first team longer than Rexy claims, but I also want to see the disappointing second team. I'm excited by our guys all through the lineup and our guys are not only fighting to make the team, they are fighting to climb the depth chart. Sounds like Rexy has all that figured out. Saturday can't come soon enough...

Just imagine how bad this media coverage would be if Favre still played for the Jets?

Annoying, Ammirite?

Yes.

Why does everyone like the Jets all of a sudden? They never exactly impressed me the times I watched them last season, and I don't expect them to do anything substantial this year either.

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!!!

You said before last season even started that Jake Delhomme made Steve Smith and that those who said it was the other way around were full of it . We had a huge debate about what a stupid comment that was that must have lasted about 10 pages. You definitely made that remark! Dont back pedal now kid!

Moose was a pro bowler before Jake ever arrived on the scene. Remember 1999 and 2000 when he lead the league in receptions? You're telling me Steve Buerlein made Moose? Nope, Moose made Buerlein and he made Jake look good in 2004. Great receivers cant just make any QB look good if they cant even get the ball to them. Your average receiver wouldnt have been able to suceed with Jake because he always overthrows them. Luckily Moose and Steve were able to bail Jake out by making circus stunt catches. Weinke was terrible and was a lost cause. jake was average but because he had two great receivers he was able to look good. Jake would be the first one to tell you that they made him look better than he was.

You are good. I said I wasn't going to go on the defensive and here we are.

So here we go. Moose was a probowler in 1999 with our other great quarterback Steve Buerelein who should have made the probowl that year.

But he didn't lead the league in reception or yards. That went to Jimmy Smith with 116 receptions and Marvin Harrison led the league in yards with 1636. In 2000, Moose tied Harrison for the lead with 102 catches but only had 1183 yards and 8 TDs to Harrison's 1413 yards and 14 TDs.

Yeah the only time he actually led the league in yards was in 2004 with Jake.

And yeah I think Steve made Moose as much as Moose made Steve. They go together. When Beuelein left Moose's stats went way down. If it was all him then he would made Weinke and Peete as well and he didn't.

They work together and always have. Even peewee coaches know that, why dont you.

And again why are we going back to 2009. Lets talk about something relevant to the last 12 months instead of what we talked about in 2009. Is that all you have.

That's your best pantherbitch, I'm showing respect of their intellect and how they have humiliated you over and over again through multiple threads. I never said anything before just sat back and watched you be a scrap of meat mauled by a pack of wolves consistently.

I dunno kid. If you really beleived that poo then you probably wouldnt keep repeating the same post over and over again. That tells me I must be doing the owning around here. Go to sleep and try again tommorrow.

Everyone jumped on the Jets bandwagon as soon as rex got hired. Their QB is awful and a wasted 1st round pick. Many can say that he played so poorly because he had no one to throw to last year. Cotchery is a beast, he had Braylan, Keller IMO is an above average tight end not great and Brad Smith showed flashes. Now if his play is soo poor with the addition of Santonio, and Sanchez still gets praised for playing like poo then the jets fanbase and media will just keep cheering for mediocrity.

Truth is that teams with great defenses can overcome issues and sometimes poor quarterback play. Even when they turned over the ball, they didn't give up lots of points which is critical to success. That has been our formula for success as well. We haven't had a top 5 offense under Fox but we have been good in not giving up too many points. It means you don't have to score a bunch of points to win.

That's your best how pathetic, your a waste of time and a waste of post. I didn't attack you until you attacked me, and like I said before the best way to rid a troll is ignore the troll. I'll let the others put u in ur place, I didn't begin the war and I'm sure as hell not going to be banned for a troll.

Ryan is great for quotes and cauisng controversy. Everyone loves to interview him and he appeals to blue collar working folks which is alot of their fanbase. I wonder if going to PSLs in new York will change it to more white collar fans.

It's just the unstoppable force of the NY media feeding off of the optimism of last year....The Jets haven't ever even sniffed Broadway Joe's jockstrap since the Cinderella story last year, so this year it's on. It's just another version of the Cowpukes at this point. They (Dallas) hadn't won a playoff game since 96' until last year, yet they remain at the focal point of attention in the NFL. It's actually quite funny in a Raiders "Commitment to Excellence" kind of way.
