This is my first post, I have been checking the forum for awhile so I know that I will probably get blasted but......

Look at next years schedule, besides our own division, we play the NFC east and AFC east. This could be tough. With current coaching staff and QB, this will be really tough. I feel save in saying that if Fox doesn't have success next season, he will be out. I say get it over with now, deal with the growing pains, get them over with and look to the future. By no means am I trying to bash Fox, I believe he is one of the better coaches in the league, but his time is running out. We should go ahead without him and start rebuilding now. Let Delhomme go and please let Ken Lucas go regardless what else happens. Try and keep Peppers, if it is feasible, and definitely keep Gross. Bring in a FA QB and let him compete with Matt Moore for the job. Most of the core players are pretty good and quite possibly could excel with some fresh ideas.

You don't need to rebuild when your core players are all under 30. Delhomme is the only guy over 30 with Smith at 29. Change of coaching? Possibly.

How many 12-4 teams do you know that rebuild?

I'll concede that we might need changes at quarterback and coaching, as well as some defensive help, but most of the pieces are here.

forget the 12-4 record .look at the eagles,steelers, chargers ,baltimore, tennesse and be realistic . we look like crap after watching the other play off games. our record doesn't reflect the truth of the matter. a lot of these wins we pulled out of our ass thanks to smith and casey. this team wasn't even close to superbowl material. get rid of jake and fox . nothing is going to change unless we get a real qb and a coach who knows when to take out someone who is never going to take this team to its full potential. he is the weak link. get a qb who can throw with accuracy and run if he has to. this guy couldn't get drafted out of college. nobody wanted him.....

12-4 is inflated. This season we played the NFC North who collectively finished 25-39 and the AFC West who collectively finished 23-41. Not exactly the best of the best. Only division worse than those was the NFC west.

do you guys think for a second that if we had the 03 defense the turnovers would have not mattered> I do.

Our defense CAN NOT STOP TEAMS FROM SCORING.

If you can force a 3 and out then we can turn the ball over all we want(not really but you get the point)

yeah that is pretty pathetic, offense and defense both played bad, but special teams played pretty good

well folks thats what happens when your bends BREAK.... Our soft zone BS defense cost us a season.

Our offense could have come back, hell they have done it all season long.

But when your defense cant stop the other team you get into panic mode.
