N.Y. vs N.Y. - Thoughts?

Some thoughts regarding these commments. The Jets defense koojed good becuase they blitzed on every down much like Baltimore. Without gameplanning, it always looks good. Would like to see us use screens and misdirection plays to abuse the rush.

The Fiants look ordinaryon defense and offense, Cruz did look good, I figure he is going to make the 53 man roster. At 6'1" and 200 lbs he looked much bigger than Smith.

Yep....3-4 Defense....starters in the entire first half for the Jets...blitzing all over the place...no gameplanning on offense = what we saw.

The Jets were winning 13-10 at halftime. I think that is more significant than the final score. Neither Sanchez nor Manning looked great. The Jets are the better team of the two.

I am kinda looking forward to us playing Eli Manning in week 1. If there ever was a time to get pressure on the QB, with their O-line, Brown, Johnson (and Hardy?) have an excellent opportunity to make a statement. Rattle Eli and the whole offense goes caput...

Look at Madhatter's post. The Jets were up 13-10 at half because they were still playing starters while the Giants had the second team in there. Plus the Jets were blitzing every down while the Giants were not even gameplanning for it. Ryan wanted to win the game because it is a cross town rivalry.

I love that they lost. Nothing better than putting a loud mouthed bragging fool in his place.

1 preseason game were he caught 6 passes and 3 tds. that statement was more so the fact that the giants have crazy depth at the position we been trying to get consitency for the last 5 years.

What the hell is a "fluke" season? Like the Giants winning the SB against the Patriots?....I don't doubt it will be tough in NY for the opener.

I think they are, and were, way better than their record last season.
