Couple of people at work were talking about Susan Smith recently. If you don't remember, she's the woman who drove her kids into the lake, then tried to ask the country for help in finding them. The people who were talking about it said when the police found the kids in the car, they were hugging each other.

When I was a little kid in the cubscouts we got to tour the courthouse and we were in the courtroom playing with the mic. The guy told use Susan Smith had been sitting there one day beforehand. Awesome.

I dated a girl that talked to Susan Smith as part of a prison ministry.

As I recall, she said Smith still didn't really take responsibility for it.

I spend 90% of my day worrying about my baby girl, and thinking about bad things that could happen, and it scares me. Getting sick, getting into a car accident with her in the back, etc, etc....all i do is worry.

the idea of intentionally hurting her is beyond my comprehension
