Enough with 12-4!

I just feel bad that we all proved those ppl right who said we were the most underserving 12-4 team in the NFL.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, should ever go 12-4, have two weeks off, everybody rested up and well, to go into a game like that with the magnitude of it and the fans going crazy with support, to get their asses absolutely handed on a silver platter to themselves by the by the cardinals.

Pretty shitty for a 12-4 team I'll say.

all that everyone wants is plain winning, until theres no more opponents. nothing else matters. a loss is a loss. like someone already mentioned, theres no pretty loss.

if we would have lost to cards by just 1 point ( so to make it a pretty loss) we would have been here on forums talking about missed opportunities and how we didnt have enough to beat the opponent or that we were just 1 point away from the championship and one step closer to the SB. BUT SAME OUTCOME - a 12/4 record blown away by one loss.

think back to cowboys last postseaspm, u think they felt better about their loss because they tried and fought so hard and got eliminated just by ONE mistake? i dont think so, they felt just like us right now.

a 12 and 4 record is extremely important. every single win out of the 12 gave us hope and boosted our excitment. if we would have finished 0 and 16, everyone including fans would look at this team in a whole lot of a different way.

we are not the best team out there, but we sure gave it a heck of a season to other teams who lost to us.

we try again next year, thats it.

___

we were too confident that we would have won. that hurt us.

You know seeing as we're on a great big blue ball hurling through space on which we have 40 or so more years of seemingly meaningless existence (if we're lucky) before we fade out to a black nothingness to be mostly forgotten by even our closest loved ones within a decade, 12-4 isn't so bad.

?? Your interpretation of the cosmic timeline is completely off.

It is a soft 12-4 against a very weak schedule. Not to mention 2 comebacks were needed to beat 2 of the worst teams in the NFL.

Thats kinda true. And I know I'm gonna get some fire for this, but 10-6 next year will be reallly lucky. Only two or three teams on the whole schedule have an 8-8 or worse record (the worst is like 7-9 I think). Much more brutal and demanding next year. We got off relatively lucky this year guys.

like me,killerkat, and jangler said.....12-4 anit shh when youer one and done.

plus i don't care if we loss by three because that means you came up inches short but to lose by 20 means your team has flaring problems.

we knew what our weakness was before we even made the playoffs, but yet were they address. Was fitz doubled when he was suppose to be,was jake playing lke a game manger....answer is no so don't give me the bitchin excuses, when you yourself are bitching at us.

The Iggles are the only team that can stop Pitt.

In Philly, yes. But the game will be played in Tampa.

That is, unless Fast Eddie (Rendell) can convince the NFL to play the game in Beaver Stadium. That, of course, won't happen, but I think Eddie would try, and Steelers fans would probably love it. Eagles fans would probably get a kick out of it too, at least the local ones.
