Enough with 12-4!

Had the Panthers won, it would have meant EVERY time they reached the playoffs they have gotten to the NFC Champ game.

Spoiled? Maybe. High expectation? Yes.

Of course it would have mattered, but we didnt

WE GOT EMBARRASSED AT HOME

So that wipes it away. If the game was close and we just loss, yea. But it wasn't like that

Problems from regular season wasnt changed, went right into the playoffs, and hurt us badly

So are you saying there is such a thing as a pretty loss?

ironic.

There is such a thing as a hard fought loss between two prepared teams, yes.

Some team has to lose.

I could take losing to the Giants in overtime a whole lot better than that fecal matter served on toast on Saturday night.

Maybe it was the $300 ticket price or maybe its that I let myself believe that for once, since 2004 under Fox they would not embarrass themselves on the big stage...wrong again.

You know seeing as we're on a great big blue ball hurling through space on which we have 40 or so more years of seemingly meaningless existence (if we're lucky) before we fade out to a black nothingness to be mostly forgotten by even our closest loved ones within a decade, 12-4 isn't so bad.

That was a ridiculous question, that I refuse to answer

Well then you should not have made the first statement. You are saying in your first post that if we would have LOST better the season would have ended better. What your failing to understand is, either way, its a LOSS.

Can we quit all the crying already. THEY LOST THE GAME. A FOOTBALL GAME. FOOTBALL!!!!.

Think about it this way.

We as Panthers fans got 12 weeks of joy during the season -- 14, really, because of the two bye weeks. A few days or so of extreme disappointment, but then most us will be over this. Not many teams got that many weeks to celebrate/enjoy Wins.

Everyone's going to have a disappointment at the end of their season, except one team. Some disappointments will be more extreme than others, but name me one non-SB champion that is truly happy right after the end of its season.

The offseason might be a long one because of this loss, but this was a memorable, exciting season for me that I wouldn't trade for much short of a SB appearance. So, 12-4 means something, even if it means way less than a SB does.
