Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed Monday that Larry Fitzgerald (MCL sprain) is likely done for the preseason.

Fitz wasn't going to be risked for more than a few reps outside of perhaps the third exhibition game, so this isn't a big loss. His injury situation is worth keeping tabs on, but Fitz is fully expected to be starting in Week 1.
