Well we went 12-4 with Jake playing and Fox coaching this year, so why should next year be such a polar reversal? Jake didn't suddenly wake up become completely incapable to play football (though it looked like it Saturday night) and Fox didn't suddenly wake up and become completely incapable to coach a team to success (ditto). We're going to have almost the exact same team next year, the major differences will be that we may not have Peppers (up for debate), and that we have a lot of young guys who will step up and begin to shine next year (Stewart, Godfrey, Otah). There is no logical argument here that we will fall from 12-4 to 6-10 except for the schedule (if someone has one, feel free to present it), and that is a pretty weak argument on its own. The way we played this year there's no reason to think that we shouldn't be able to beat most of those teams.
