I'm not impressed withour current LBs in the least. These guys scare no one.

That's the way I feel about the offense..

I could add, but that's why Ive been beating the pass catcher weapon drum. Panthers need someone to fear on the field, not the type hunt&lewis dish, but the "Yo where is ______ , key on HIM!!!!" Theres no feat with chubba either, no disrespect.

For reference Shaq hit 135 tackles exactly once in his career. We needed a volume tackler badly.

It baffles me that so many Panthers fans act like Shaq was a continuation of the Panthers' typically having at least one excellent LB. The guy was a JAG starter that we overdrafted at our position of greatest strength at the time then paid him like the player we hoped he would be rather than the player that he was. He was basically Will Witherspoon. Solid player but not a cornerstone of your defense.

Like the Witherspoon comp. Shaq was good for a couple strong, isolated form tackles per year. Those were super impressive. Total JAG the other 95% of the snaps.  Beason/Davis to Kuechly/Davis Panthers fans should know what high level LB play looks like.
