I agree with him sometimes, but some of his opinions are just plain stupid. Other times you can tell he's saying stuff just to be an idiot, which I really hate in a sports host.

Dumbest stance I've ever heard him espouse (and as far as I know, he still does) is that parity is bad for the NFL. He thinks they should go back to having a couple of dynasties and the rest being also rans. The reasoning: because he enjoyed watching the old dynasties and he thinks others should too.

The reason football is so popular these days is because everyone's team has a shot. If you go back to the old way, you're not going to have people in Charlotte saying "well, our team sucks, but I'm still just as excited because I enjoy watching how good the Cowboys play." The notion is dumb beyond belief.

That's why he gets on my nerves. He is so anti-small market. He was talking trash about the rumored CP3 trade to the Bobcats and something to do with the Panthers a couple weeks back as well... As I heard it was something about Charlotte being a horrible place to live, nothing to do, blah blah blah. I've heard him discount our teams before as well...

It's annoying. Everything he lobbies is about big market cities and such, maybe it's his strategy to gain a bigger fan base lol, but he alienates pretty much everyone else. And the thing is, I love bigger cities/regions, etc... If you could live in Miami or Charlotte, all things being equal, where would you live? I get that... But, that's not always the case in sports. For instance in the CP3 thing, that douchebag completely disregarded the fact that Chris Paul is from here and is a posterboy of the Jordan Brand.

Sometimes he's spot-on with his opinions, but others he just seems to take a Skip Bayless approach and assume the most asinine opinion on something just to stir the pot. THAT is ANNOYING. I've agreed with him on several issues, but I can't take but so much of him. Beadle on the other hand...

I know I'm in the minority, but I still enjoy Jim Rome the most... His show is funny and his 'takes' are classic, usually which I agree with. And although he's pretty much a West Coast and big market guy as well, he gives everyone an equal chance... Smitty has been on his show numerous times, and Rome often talks about how Smitty is one of the Jungle favorites - although he could be doing it to avoid re-enacting his 'Chris Everett' moment.

hes among the most full of themselves sport jock ego evar. jt the bitch and him are neck and neck, neither can buy a hat to fit their heads. i love the way that chick handles him and his HUGE ego, such a turn-on watching women do that.

i will say in defense, many times they say stuff to get rating a boost. dumb, untrue any thing that gets people pissed. its a old radio trick used by all the top dollar DJs.

I hate Cowherd. He's such a self-righteous prick.

He made some comment about roofers being uneducated once and, having roofed in the past, I took it to heart.

What can I say? I hold grudges.

There is no doubting Cowherd is a piece of work....But with a name like "Cowherd" what can one expect.:)

She is the type of girl that everyone wants to hang out with but no one will marry.

Seems perfect but far from it.

I find petty drama and insecurity much more unattractive.. and girls that are similar to what Michelle Beadle appears, much more attractive.. whether anything mentioned in this post is relevant to her, I have no idea, have never met her...
