ESPN is full of idiots, but Colin Cowherd is a complete tool.

Awesomeness!!

I think my favorite segment of The Herd is during football season when Collin brings in Trent Dilfer on Mondays to talk about the NFL and CFB games of the past week. IMO Trent is one of the most knowledgeable and on point analysts in all of sports media....

I like Colin a lot. I've been an avid listener of his since he joined ESPNRadio. At first, I hated his guts, but listened because I hated his guts (kind of a Howard Stern effect). Over that time, I've grown to really enjoy his show and it highlights my sports talk radio day- it's an oasis in the desert that is Charlotte morning sports talk radio, sandwiched between the Mac Attack and whatever Buck and Frank are calling their show... the Locker Room?

Cowherd is more often right than wrong with his analogies.. And he does go against the grain often, but I also agree with him most of the time.. Besides, he has Michelle Beadle on and I'm trying to figure out how to stalk effectively.. any tips, very much appreciated..

The local people are lame, if not highly annoying (especially Adam-fuging-Gold.. dude has no clue about 90% of the time), David Glenn isn't bad but his voice annoys me now and he laughs wayyyy to fuging much when interviewing people and out of ESPN we have: Rome, Cowherd, Mike and Mike, and SVP..

Cowherd and Scott Van Pelt are the only good shows.. Although I have to admit I enjoy Rome from time to time.. his schtick is washed up, but some of his rants are pretty funny from time to time.. it's either him or David Glenn.. so that should speak volumes on how tired Glenn can get..

Podcasts are the way to go around here anymore...

In the 15 minutes I listened to colin on Moday I got this from him:

Dustin Johnson should have made the putt then he would have been in the playoff anyway (Check your math colin. he still would have been 1 stoke back)

The NFL is more popular than MLB because you can't see all the NFL games on TV. First off you can see every NFL game the same way you can see every MLB game. Second I don't think if this were true it would help the NFL's popularity.

I like Colin, abrasive at times, yes, but very entertaining. The one day when he said anyone with a tatoo on their neck we should call Fil. "Im not saying Phil as in short for Phillip, Im sayin Fil like Future Income Limitations". Or when he was talking about fantasy football and some dude calls in and says he's in 3 free FF leagues. Colin asked what he gets if he wins, "Nothing, its free and for fun" was the reply. Cowherd then went on a rant about what a waste of time it was. "Folks, you have to prioritize -Family 1st, career 2nd, meth 3rd, keep it straight people"...
