Chris Johnson...

Needless to say, he didn't look like a 2,000 yard back in the 1st preseason game. But, is it just that he knows it's only preseason or is he already showing that he is a specialist that will bust the big one if you don't wrap up and lay a good hit on him? Some of the league's best (of today and all time) had the ability to bounce off of great, text-book hits and get a few more yards. It seems to me like CJ, if you get a solid lick on him, will go down fairly easily. Yeah, he can slip arm tackles and he's quick, but he's not an all-around back and with as many carries as he had last year and undoubtedly how many he will have this year, his legs will eventually go, as will that speed.

Any thoughts or am I just a hater?

He went up against some bad run defenses, look what happened when he went up against some great run defenses last years like pittsburgh.

polamalu caught him in the backfield, aaron smith routed him at the line of scrimmage. He won't get 2K Yards again, I'm not a hater, and I'm definitley not a believer he will do it again.

I bet somewhere on the internet there's a thread like this about Deangelo Williams. The biggest difference between the two is D-Will has J-Stew. CJ is alone in Tenn.

And another difference is D-Will got yardage on every play except the one where he cut back and got caught up at the line. Not to mention the mini-explosion he had on his second carry. D-Will has also proved that he can consistently get 3-4 yards practically every carry. CJ has shown that he can be brought down at the line or he can bust a 70 yarder. No middle ground really to speak of on a consistent basis. But, I see your point.

welp we'll see what happens.

No need, I will tell you. CJ will not go for more than 1,700 yards, he will have fewer TDs than both D-Will and Stew, he and his team will not reach the playoffs (or they will lose a wild card game, at best), and he will not be the league's leading rusher by season's end. And even after all that....he will still be considered better by ESPN than both D-Will and Stew.

Yes. Mainly because one is a Bears fan, and the other is a Colts (bandwagon) fan. I consistently rub in the fact that the Bears have gotten the Panthers sloppy seconds (Ricky Manning Jr, Moose, Peppers...) and Steve Smith made them look like liars in the playoffs a few years ago. And I turn on my other buddy and remind him that he wouldn't like the Colts if they didn't have Peyton and he needs to quit his jock-sniffing love affair.
