Quit talking poo about Goku. All he does is save the planet from impending doom and you guys wanna knock him for being a cartoon and not being real. I don't hate on any of you fairy loving tree huggers for your worship of Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny.

No kyle i believe you said imaginary things are real! And now you have to suck my balls .. i will warn you though i did not have a chance to shower on the way here so my balls are .. extra vinegary

Right now Armanti is really having the chronic rookie problem of trying to dance his way out of trouble. One punt return he just totally spazzed, he tried to go about 4 directions at one time. He almost tore every ligament in his body.

He'll need to learn quick if he wants to contribute. If he doesn't our returns will be worse than last year. Actually they might be better because he probably won't get the job if he keeps dancing.

I think it might be an issue of pride. Some rookies come in to the league and can still play like they did in college. I guess some guys don't want to admit that they can't school NFL players like NCAA scrubs.

I still remember Williams first game against buffalo he went every direction but forwards. He got better and better as the season went on but he really didn't start looking 100% beast until the latter half of 07.

Like I said in the topic, quit talking sh*t towards AE. He did not drop a single punt like he was during summer workouts/training camp. He made 10+ yards & first down with his first reception of the game (plus he hasn't played WR since high school) & maintained a fine avg yardage with punt returns, and this is his first game in the NFL as a WR/PR!!! If you guys are true Panther fans, you'd support him & cheer him on since he is an Appalachian State graduate. I am an ASU graduate myself (class of '10) & have been watching what he's capable of for the past 4 years so I know what I'm talking about. He can run, dodge, dash, & probably kick your ass if he wanted to. Quit being pussies:mad:

hi welcome to the forum

I've been as App state fan since I was a kid (I was born in Boone in 83) and watched a team that struggled to maintain a top 3 finish in the southern conference each year, in front of home crowds that were lucky to exceed 5000. Things started to change after Jerry Moore was hired as head coach in 89. App State continually increased their winning percentage but it wasn't until Moore implemented a modified spread offense in 2005 that App State really flourished, they won their first of 3 consecutive national championships that year behind Richie Williams at quarterback. The following year Armanti Edwards started at quarterback and the rest is history as he had a record breaking career in over 10 career statistics for a Div 1 quarterback.

I took my wife to her first college sporting event for the Halloween game against Wofford in 2008, we steamrolled them 70-24 in front of 37,000 fans.

If you wonder why Armanti/App state fans are rabid supporters it's because of this. He was almost a singlehanded driving force for a football program that used to have home game attendance with a regularity below 5k to a program that constantly has home game attendance in the 30,000s garnering stadium renovations and additions in order to be able to hold the overflow and a town that sees over 50,000 tailgaters on gamedays. We have seen him play with a drive and a passion few have ever possessed in Boone outside of a few (dexter coaxley).

However, as a Boone native and an Appstate fanboi, I do not expect everyone or anyone for that matter to hold Armanti in the same regard as I do. This is a whole new ballgame, this is the NFL and he has yet to prove jack poo at this level. Until he does I will support him but I will not judge others for hating on the pick or his slow developement (however unfair their accessment may be)

So in conclusion, shut up nancy boy and put on your big girl panties.

Nice post.
