Beason taking hand signals from the sideline

Why would connor have the mic, beason is the true leader of the d and he's the one that calls all the plays and audibles. Connor is a player, but he doesn't seem like much of a leader.

But to answer your question, other teams could observe game tape and learn our signals. If that was the case then its gonna be a long year on d.

My question is, is it required for the MLB to man the headset?

I was reading that Beason is taking hand signals from the sideline because Connor has the headset in his helmet. It concerns me that other teams could steal our signals, thoughts?

I think that was the case because Beason was only playing the first quarter but Conner was going to play longer. They need to prepare someone else just in case Beason goes down for the season.

Typically the Mike LB has the headset because depending on the play call the OLB's may not have the view the MLB does in case adjustments should be made to the DL.

Yep but IMO Connor should just be getting the Calls. No hand signals should be used. If Connor cant handle that he should not be at MLB or given the job of adjustments. He should give it all to Connor or all to Beason.

On a positive note, we don't play the Patriots this season.
