If you use some "Holy-stone" it looks really cool with the crayfish.

I had African Ciclids a few years ago...fresh water very colorful fish. I had white sand down and lots of lava rocks. It looked really cool, but Ciclids are EXTREMLY aggressive and they kill each other. @ $12 a fish it got expensive and sad to watch them kill eachother off. I ended up getting rid of them and got a dog instead!

I grew up in Tampa Bay and through highschool and part of college worked at an upscale marine aquarium store. I had my own aquarium maintenance business on the side where I would go into dr offices and such and maintain their reef aquariums. Made pretty decent money doing it. I often think about opening up a place like that up near the lake when I retire just for fun.

If you catch crawfish and build a little ring on land they will fight to the death. I tripped on acid once and did this all night in the Smokey Mountains. We must have went through 30+ crawfish.

Used to have a 125 gallon marine aquarium complete with chiller etc 20 plus years ago. Amazingly beautiful stuff.

I just wouldn't have one these days because of the way reefs around the world are being shreaded to supply the industry. These days we have 3 fresh water tanks in the house and a pond in the yard. Hopefully soon anything marine is either farm or tank produced or no longer available. You just can't reproduce coral reefs at will.

Zod your boys look they could be my twins if I was 10 years younger. I had that same hair color and length!
