Fox runs the stalest offense in football.

I don't know why I didn't notice it sooner (like years ago). I noticed how we for the most part run like 5 plays all game. We change tha play ever so slighty that so it doesn't mirror the or original, but if you pay attention you can tell. The sweeps, the handoffs, the smoke passes to Smitty, and crossing patterns with the slot recievers. I don't know if its Jeff Davidson, or Fox, but my god.........

While the play calling can be predictable on certain situations, quick out to smitty on second and long, draw play on third and 15+, our playbook is actually rather large and allows for a pretty varied offense. It's just a conservative execution in those situations that gives you the impression thats its stale.

Two years ago, when we had at least the threat of a passing attack, we were among the top 10 in the NLF in points per game at 25.9 points per game. Last year, once we replaced our QB, the offense started to look like it did in 2008. If the offense does that well this year, I don't care if they run only one play.

Fox's O is not as stale and boring as your threads.

How many teams in the NFL run trick plays regularly or a spread or triple-option offense? None I can think of.

Some of the more electric teams I can think of (Colts and Saints for example) put it in the air a lot, but there is no trickery to it. Great QB's who get great protection and time to make the throws downfield.

I like our offense - just wish we had more weapons at receiver.
