A New Guy's Fan Perspective

Munnerlyn is my guess

That makes sense, though I'd likely have expected "Munny".

"Money' used to be John Kasay's nickname.

Munnerlyn is still today insisting that Clayton got away with a push on the TD. Watching the video isn't definitive, but it's possible.

In fairness, Steve Smith got away with pulling Antoine Winfield to the ground in last year's Vikings game, but that one actually counted.

Why are you hating on the haters? Haters gonna hate.

RE:My AE "hate" - He had a price tag for his pick because it involved a trade up, and with that he also got a 4 year contract.

So the expectations are high. And I think we all want him to come out and show us something.

But he didn't show talent with his hands in Training Camp, and he didn't last night. You could try and justify that by saying the FO said they were drafting an athlete. But his performance wasn't all that athletic last night.

You know what they say about first impressions...

Man, all I can say is . . its done, theres no going back now, no matter what the outcome is. . he's our project.

Let me ask you something, does AE have the potential to be very good or better? What are the odds that he's going to be that? . . Well, our FO came up with those odds along with all of the other nfl teams and he landed with us. So the bet is made, it's time to move on now from what we bet. Now you gotta see if the right experiences and coaching will make him great.

Moose got a away with a lot over the years in general also, my friend. I have a feeling we'll be feeling some payback on that with a younger core group on both sides now. That is to say, maybe less star power pressure on the refs to make the right call.
