why do panther fans complain so much?

It's just passionate fans who sometimes can't distinguish between preseason, regular season, or playoffs also having high expectations which aren't always realistic. There are poo-stirrers in every bunch. Our banana bunch has a good number but so do all the others. We're just used to them flocking to the huddle to piss and moan after a loss. It's par for the course.

I would say message board posters are proven Panther fans while the majority of other Panther fans are bandwagoners or just the casual fan of the local team.

No, believe it or not, I've met lots of hardcore fans of the team that are aware of and have visited the Huddle/other message boards, but don't post here or read daily because of the negativity that permeates.

Zod and several other prominent members of the board are a bunch of negative Nancies and it rubs off on others.

Seriously though, as explained in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back the internet is a place for people to gather and talk poo about things they claim to hate yet can't stop talking about. It's not exclusive to the panthers or this message board.

I don't know about everyone else, but I only complain when I'm not drinking, which is unfortunately during working hours.

Not on Panther gamedays, there can be an abundance of drinking and complaining (see most of the 2007 season, the 2008 playoff game, when Jake Delhomme completely turned into Ryan Leaf in 2009).

I actually didn't post much in the offseason because things get so negative (you can only read so many "Fire Fox", "Die Jake Die" or "Peppers Sucks" threads).

But all fan bases are basically like this, so it's no biggie. You've got a few idiots around here.... but the majority at least have a clue (although there's lots of differences of opinion, which makes it fun).

I mean come on.... at least we're not Cowboys fans.
