Panthers will trade for a WR...

Am I the only one who thinks Moose could come out of hibernation and still outplay every reciever on the Panthers not named Smith?

Nope, I think the same.

Moose didn't impress last year, but which receiver did prior to Moore coming in? He's not far removed from a near-1,000 yard season in 2008.

I still think we should have kept Moose. You can't tell me he wouldn't be a good third or fourth option and a leader in the lockerroom.

You underestimate his value. Sutton is better than the majority of the backup RB's in the league.

Or do you not think teams value having a solid backup RB?

I'm still waiting for you to find a team that has the need, and also has a decent receiver worth having, that they are willing to ship to us.

Until then you can spew any trash you want, and it still just trash.

Funny how my trash is constantly of more worth than anything you offer.

Anywho, Sutton for a WR equivalent of Sutton would be worth it IMO. I don't have scout tapes of the other 31 teams, so you will have to take the wait and see approach.

In five games with Moore, Moose had 19 receptions for over 440 yards.

I think he could put his pads on and immediately be our number two reciever.

not going to happen, but hopefully Jarrett can step up (Jarrett didn't look awful last night)....needs more reps imo

I freakin' love what I've seen from Sutton. The guy does everything that's asked of him, and he does it very well. Fullback? Sure. Running back? No problem. Catch a pass, return a punt? He can do it.

With both Williams and Stewart (and Fiammetta) having recent injuries, it might serve us well to keep him -- especially since our success is predicated on our ability to run the ball.

He's really all you can ask for in a third back and more.
