Panthers will trade for a WR...

I don't see Carolina trading D-Will or Stewart for any topline WR (not with how much they value the running game), and I don't see Sutton being so valuable that another team would trade a second or third receiver for him either. I believe that the coaching staff and management are fine with what they have at WR (with everyone being young and raw outside of Steve Smith). You have to face the fact that this is one one of the youngest teams in the NFL, and they want to see who develops.

Yeah, you are probably right about our FO, knowing how conservative it tends to be. Then again, I think that everyone would like to see Fox have a realistic chance to "succeed" this year. We already know that Will and Stew ain't goin' anywhere, but perhaps the Sutton-TE carrot would be enough of a carrot to bring in some real talent with some real potential.

Guys, I love Sutton, but these teams are not trading receivers like Royal, Massaquoi or Robiskie for him.

And as much as I'd love to have him here, I was joking about the Caldwell trade as well.

Yeah Double B, but they'd probably take a look if we throw in one of our able-bodied, potential-filled TEs.
