What's so difficult?.....

My parents always said "onguion" instead of "onion". I didn't realize it wasn't the right way to say it until maybe 7th grade when I saw the word "onion" and realized it did not have a "g" in it.

My family also says "antanna" instead of "antenna". I didn't realize I pronounced it incorrectly until my boyfriend pointed it out to me when I was around 17 years old. I immediately corrected the way I pronounced both of those words.

People always add and subtract letters to words. I will never understand it.

Instead of "idea" my father says "idear". It has gotten to the point now where I won't acknowledge his sentence until he corrects it.

all of my boston in-laws do this.

Take Rs out from words they're in and stick them at the end of words where they don't belong.
