Matt Moore looked bad, Clausen looked great, OL Pass block horrible

I don't think Moore looked bad. He had some nice throws called back. I think everybody is impressed with Clausen because he's a rookie and showed a lot of poise and overall good decision making. The o-line played terrible. They are one of the best units in the NFL. They just need to knock the rust off. And yes, the Ravens defense is that good.

Moore looked good last night. He was moving the ball well his last drive to several different guys. Also, factor in his 1 WR wasn't even playing. The Ravens brought a big time blitz in preseason......people are overreacting.

Clauasen looked good last night....not as good as Moore considering he was playing scrubs.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I'll agree. Moore looked very good to me. There was one throw that I felt could have been better.. it was a fade route to somebody down the right sideline.. I can't remember who it was (maybe LaFell). It looked like he was wide open. Overall, Moore was finding the open man, escaping pressure to extend the play.. all great things. He did fail to read the weakside blitz which caused the FF..

Clausen was amazing for a rookie.. you can very much tell that he is comfortable with our system and there is not a huge learning curve for him. It is paying dividends that he was in Weis' system at Notre Dame. I would be comfortable with either QB starting for us next season. I think we are a 10 win team.

of course I'd start a thread about Clausen right after you did, but I'll take another opportunity to sing his praises here. He had hardly anytime and made something out nothing on more than one occasion. It seems the announcers last night took notice, he's the topic of conversation around the water cooler at work today and somehow I think some people are dismissing him because of their love affair with Moore

I think the same could be said of Clausen, who has been the topic of conversation around water coolers for several months now. ESPN took notice of him long before he played a snap in the NFL.

It was Moore's first pass of the game. It was intended for a wide open Jeff King but was thrown out of bounds slightly behind him. Luckily it was a freebie play as Ravens LB Terrell Suggs had jumped offsides.

Neither QB looked great, neither looked bad. They both looked average, and I'm not worried about either this season, assuming they both play (Jimmy probably won't). I think tonight was more about the O-Line still being asleep, and the D actually making some plays.

Remember, though it was a "scripted" pre-season, for a while there it was indeed our starters versus their starters (we both had players out, btw). And well...let's wait for game two because I wasn't impressed by the starters (sans D-Lo).
