Everette Brown

I wonder if they have tried Brown at LB at all. Coming out of college he was projected as a DE/LB. More suited for a 3-4 LB but you never know. Only the coaches would know for sure.

Wow, all this on Everett Brown? He outplayed Charles Johnson. I don't see any of you pissing and moaning about Johnson, but cause Brown didn't get any sacks (although he was getting consistent pressure, much better than Johnson) Brown is now the enemy.

Johnson was getting double teamed all game...Everett brown tried to spin his way all game like a ballerina but failed miserably. But like everyone said, it is the first preseason game.

I think he should be further along than where he is now. As has been said, he hasn't appeared to develop any new moves, and quite honestly, I'm embarrassed for him sometimes.

Last night for example, he attempted his famed spin move that works about 1 out of 10 times... He spun around, the tackle just backpedaled and caught him mid-spin with EB's back to him. At that point, EB just appeared to lose his balance and started falling backwards into the tackle and the tackle just swallowed him up until he fell down... It was horrid. And that's pretty much all I ever see from him. Unless he gets to the tackle's shoulder on his first step he's done.

I have to agree Brown has much more to live up to, but I also have to give him a few more games to show himself.

Hmmmmm Armanti Edwards or Everette Brown? I havent decided which one of these two jokers was the dumbest trade yet. You can go either way really. I cant wait to see which loser Hurney trades away high pick for next year....

Brown, at least until this time next year.

I hope he turns out but he really got stoned a few times last night. His spin move looked pathetic. Hopefully he can get some better moves before the season...

He should be fine but last night was not his best moment. I saw a lot in the limited time in real game action lat season and he get around the edge quickly. I do hope he learns to not take himself out of plays.
