Best purchase I'll ever make I think. The quality is great and I dont have cable tv or dish so I will be really enjoying this. Im watching the giants game from last year right now. Lovin it. :sifone:

Games post at 6am the following day after a game. No if I were to use fraps I s'pose I could just rip every game. Not sure If I'll bother though.

Wait wait? what's this? I just found today my building won't let me install directv here so that means no Sunday Ticket.. After a fitful rage I'm trying to deduce all the ways I could see the games since I live in Falcon's country. I'll have to check out this Rewind thing, thanks.

If I could code maybe. Seeing the packets isnt the problem. Im a network guy though not a code head.

That I really give a fug either way. After I've watched the game a couple of times and broken it down, I dont think I'll want to watch it again.

Edit: and I wouldnt leave the file in its raw format. I'd probably convert to either flv or mkv for myself.

I don't know if I could survive all sunday without finding out the result of the game.

Of course you would watch the game on Sunday. Go to your favorite bar or watch it over the air in HD or go to a friends place. Guess you have no interest in watching the game more than once or maybe watching another game that you missed because you were watching the Panthers. For 40 beans?. . you cant beat that and let me tell you, I know all the different places to catch the game online, streaming or otherwise, and it isnt worth it.

I record the games using a tv card connected straight to my motherboard. If I could rip the files off of game rewind I could do that but I don't know how.

My way is better quality but the files are HUGE before I compress them down to 1080p .wmv files. Like 20 gigs for 3 hours.

I hear ya Big Baller but my way is cheaper. I didnt want to shell out 2 or 3 hundred for a good converter like my friend has. What are you using for a tv tuner card? HD eh? Im interested but l think Im happy with this, man. I'll get all the rest of the game to watch during the week when im fuggin around on my computer.

I like the like touches on NFL rewind like it staying on fullscreen on one screen while im working on the other. The quality is very good, speed is very good, app is very stable and is java. The fact that I can watch all the 09 games right now anytime I want. . fast forward straight to the 89 domination.

This year, I called about my Sunday Ticket and told them I didn't want to pay 300 bucks for it and not get HD($50x6months). They chopped off ten bucks a month, and threw in HD for free.

So now I get all the games in HD, and its only $240 for the season. 47 cents per game, whether I watch it or not.

Thanks for the thread, just signed up. I get OTA tv and record it via computer, but it's nice to have a backup plan and also be able to catch some of the other games as well.

Signed up for preseason too, I probably would've spent more than the 29.99 at a bar tonight anyway.

    • You and I both know there isn't a coach we could or can still hire that can "fix" Bryce Young. Even at mighty Alabama with one of the best modern coaches in college football history Mac Jones was still a better QB than Bryce Young. Mac Jones.... We already know how you feel about Canales on a personal level so in that regard you wanting him fired is not news. You don't have to disguise it behind this shroud of rabble about not fixing Bryce Young. To his credit he somehow had us competive against the Chiefs and the Eagles on the road with #9. But no coaching staff can overcome their starting QB turning the ball over 4 times. We definitely have developed some of our younger offensive pieces. And as far as Evero goes he has earned criticism and if he's fired so be it but in his defense many of us said in the offseason this defensive roster was a disaster waiting to happen given the resources we spent on the offense while neglecting the defense. That was Dan Morgan's plan. He swung too hard toward offense to salvage the Bryce Young trade. That's on him. We can scream about XL all we want but at least he's actually been on the field for the most part. The Brooks pick was a luxury pick at the time and now it is a Hurney level blunder. Dan Morgan has gotten a lot of early praise here when in reality he's unequivocally deserving of significant criticism. But if you say that some people get up in arms because he's a former Panther. Big whoop. He has just as much to prove this upcoming season as Canales. That's why to me in my own personal opinion I say one more season and then if it's more of the same say goodbye to both.
    • It's a decent vid with compelling reasons for his opinion. But, my thing is is that you simply can't draft McMillan thinking he is a surefire WR1. There are questions. His 40---rightly or wrongly---will play a part. I'd think that his splits (which will speak more to his game translating to the pros in my mind) are more important.  As much as you're trying to sell us that McMillan is a don't-overthink-it-type-of-player, I wouldn't say that's the case. Workouts will play a part in all of this.  At this point, I like the thought of Tetairoa. That's as much as I can give you right now.
