Lafell has won starting job

well, we seem to think Jarrett looked good in practice..but I don't remember Steve Smith ever saying anything positive about him like he does of LaFell...he apparently passes the eyeball test for both the coaches and the players..and that's at least a good start.

i have never watched a practice, the coaches and reporters (at practice) have always commented about Jarrett's practices over the past few years and it has never been negative.

Steve Smith simply might not like Jarrett....too much has always been put on what comes out of Steve's mouth.

I must read different reports than you do; I have never heard any good reports about Jarrett. All I EVER hear now and when he was drafted was his inability to run routes and understand the playbook! Not saying nothing good has ever been said about the kid but I missed all that I guess

I'm so jaded by the WRs we've drafted I'm not even going to form an opinion until the guy plays.....for multiple years.

This, but it looks like Tike Tolbert is having his affect on our WR's. The only skill I hope Lafell has advantageous over the other wideouts is seperation.

Catching is one thing, but getting away from the corners is where all rookies struggle.

this is a prediction....nothing more. Gantt tweeted the other day Jarrett still has his supporters on the Panther coaching staff. Jarrett probably goes for about 259 yards, 3 TDs tonight. Or maybe he puts up a goose egg. I am confident it will go one of those 2 ways.

I have to agree this is nothing more than "fodder." Jarrett is still starting until he gets shown up in the pre-season.
