This really takes me down memory lane, and makes me extra grateful for Fox/Hurney. They do tend to get good guys, and the team has a much different character than it did under Capers/Seiffert.

I can't hate a player in good conscience for not being talented enough, or for getting injured, so guys like Timmy B and Keary Colbert won't be on the list. But there are those who have hurt this team through their actions, and that leaves a mark. I'm happy to see that most are pre-Fox too. In no particular order:

Kevin Greene for his salary demands and shenanigans. He also exposed Capers when he went after that assistant coach on the sidelines.

Rae Carruth for obvious reasons (and he wasn't a great receiver to begin with)

Jason Peter for being the worst first round pick in franchise history, 'roiding up, and not performing in games.

Kerry Collins for getting drunk and thinking that he had some sort of street cred in the locker room, enough to toss around racial remarks. That can be ok if you're friends, but he ought to have made sure first...

Norberto Davidds-Garrido, for punching his quarterback and taking his wife's name when they got married. Being a revolving door on the line didn't help much...

Ricky Manning, Jr. for beating up a nerd at Denny's, just for being a nerd, which prompted the Panthers to let him go to the Bears.
