Anyone else really concerned about Hoover being gone?

Now this really hurts me to say as an App State guy (and also because I saw Hoover light up my team in high school for about 250 yards), but does anyone think our running game is going to take some time to get over Hoover being gone?

I think Hoover might finally get the credit he deserves when our running game suffers a bit. Granted, our O-line and backs are complete studs, but I think Hoov was a big part of that combination.

How's Fiametta looked in camp? I was there last year and he's a physical speciman.... I just hope it translates into performance.

No. Not at all. Hoover was a great panther. It was time for an upgrade by going younger. 10 years from now lets hope we ask the same thing about Fiametta.

It may have been a good move I guess....mainly injury-wise. He has certainly taken a pounding over the years.

Oh, and while I'm at it:

Don't fire Fox.

Don't change to a 3-4 defense.

It's too hot to wear all black.

I still have a Delhomme jersey, so bring him back. I'm too cheap to buy a Moore jersey.

Peppers should have gone to the NBA instead.

There. Now I don't have to start 5 more threads tonight.

Fiametta may play better with the experience from last year added with the fact that he will "own" the FB role, and be expected to perform as a starter, and not with the beloved Hoov over his shoulder, waiting for the next snap.

I hope to see him blowing up holes for Double Trouble all season!
