I would make him a swing tackle first, reserve guard second.  We have Zavala, who played well.  The OL is set.

Corbett, Mays, Lewis, Hunt, Ekwonu, Moton, Zavala, Christensen, Nijman

I doubt we keep more than nine on the roster, so these hybrids are valuable.  I expect the Panthers to draft a RT to play behind Moton and to take the RT job in a year.

HOWEVER, BC can play RT and at age 29, he could compete for RT.  I wonder if this depth behind Moton prevents the Panthers from drafting a RT this year? 

I hope we did not overpay--no more than $3-4m.

Panthers re-signed OL Brady Christensen.

A 2021 third-round pick, Christensen just wrapped his rookie contract. He spent 2024 time at left tackle and center and has an entire season’s worth of playing time at left guard. He is a replacement-level player on the whole, but that kind of versatility can be hard to replace. Christensen is old for a fifth-year pro, turning 29 in September.
