From Free Agency Frenzy on @nflnetwork: The #Panthers were interested in bringing back RB Miles Sanders on a reworked deal but the sides couldn’t agree. He’s now free and will have interest elsewhere, especially with connections to coaches in several places.

The same way that you don't know that they did. Getting anything for a player is always better than nothing and just because he may not fit our scheme doesn't mean that he won't fit another team better...

It was not at all a secret that we tried to at the last trade deadline. Nobody wanted a back of his average caliber with his way above average contract
