Morgan as GM so far

The good thing about Morgan is he was on the Panthers when the team was somewhat well run. I don't think it can be understated how god awful Scott Fitterer was. I don't know if he was too heavily influenced by Tepper or if he was just awful at his job. Morgan at the very least was a Panthers player, was around when the team had success which probably helps just his general attitude towards building the team.

Fitterer was the worst GM we've ever had at actually reading the flow of the draft. It's like he never actually sat down and looked at where certain positions tend to have the most success relative to draft position or figure out how to be at the beginning of the positional run instead of panicking at the end. DJ Johnson comes specifically to mind for this.

Fans were raving about his moves last year and it was way more misses than hits. They have to prove this year is different but feels the same to me. Thankfully they couldn't get the too expensive signing this year. He also leans into projects on which hasn't served him well. He also blew the draft last year early that fans raved about that. Prove it or it's just hot air even if it's according to plan.

With the re-signing of BC, and the experienced depth built on the D-line, Dan has plugged a lot of holes before the draft, and really put is in an excellent position on draft day. We can really build this team in the draft the next few years with true BPA before we have to pay Bryce. This will allow us to have talent and depth on the team when we have to eventually pay Bryce.

I personally got to wait until this upcoming season is over.

Was not fan of 163millon to OG, they earned it and for one year it was the right move.

Besides Michael Jackson and Chirst, Im not liking this "panther tax" being paid to safety and Wharton, who?? 15million per that's who.

DL was a problem and he went out and attacked the league to solve it with backups, which they need top backups.

Just got to allow his vision to play out and Ill say this Brandt Tilis is just as much a GM as Morgan.

I loved his free agency moves. I didn't hate the guys he drafted. It's just there were better options with the first 3 picks.

I wasn't impressed with who they targeted first. I like Jackson and the NT. The rest seem like they could be good or just a rerun. He took some shots and needs them to workout more than last year.

Leggette needs to take some serious steps and I can't even remember the RBs name anymore. Wallace got stats but he also didn't flash anything really great. Sanders looks the best of the drafted guys IMO and he also has work but given where he was drafted that's not really a negative. The best one may be thr one they didn't draft and makes the first pick look that much more disappointing. They have to do better this year or there is no way it can be looked at as a strength.

Meh. It's not the worst GMing the team has seem so it's not like the pitchforks and torches are out. He like a lot of the rest of the team needs to prove it.

Yeah contracts and dollars is probably 100% Brandt with little input from Dan.

i get it the defensive line was bad really really bad last year .however ,I think & anyone would agree that had alot to do with Derrick Brown not playing basically the entire season last year  .& so my point being I think yes we overreacted & as a result over spent on the DT position while all at the same time the answer was already on the roster / injured  (Derrick Brown ) & with as many holes as there is on this team right now that money could have been allocated to obtain other resources ...just saying

Morgan is working his plan. Build the trenches.

Built us a top ten offensive line last year and by signing Christensen he's keeping the family together.

He's focusing on the defensive line to compliment Brown. Many of the new players are coming off their rookie deals. They kind of remind me of AJ Klein. He was behind Luke. A good player that moved on to the Saints and had a decent career.

The draft last year we took many players that were questionable at the spot they were picked but have huge upsides to them if they develop properly.

I liked most of his picks and look forward to this draft.

LMAO you hear this all the time & it's especially with these draft picks people saying "yeah i still really like this draft pick even though he has not really done anything yet the kid sure does have alot of potential ."

but wait a minute now you could actually say this about any player that was just recently drafted because they all in fact yes have potential &  if not, then they would have NO not have been drafted in the NFL draft   ...just saying
