One or two year contract. Brooks won't be available in 2025. Why draft another RB when we could use the draft capital on other needs. I wouldn't mind with a decent contract.

I'd love to add a classic fullback to our team. If he were five years younger I'd jump at having him here.

I'm not sure we even have use for a traditional fullback in our offense. Did we even have one on the roster last year?

I feel like Tremble can be that guy if needed.

I feel like re-signing Tommy Tremble kind of signals that we're not seriously considering Warren at #8.

Not that his ceiling isn't FAR higher than either Tremble or Sanders, but we don't need all three of them.

Had they let Tremble walk I'd be more convinced that Warren is on our radar as Sanders could pretty seamlessly move into the TE2 role, but Tremble's contract screams "TE2!" and I don't see them giving up on Sanders after one fairly promising year.

But he does actually catch them. That's the problem with a lot of our TE's currently(minus maybe Sanders).

I'd also like Mekhi Becton. I don't want him to start. I just want him as an extra tight end in goal line situations with Tyler Warren and Cam Skattebo lined up in the backfield to take either the tush push or to do a sort of wild cat play. You could also have Kyle back there because he can both block and catch. 

That would be a nearly unstoppable force within 5 yards of the goal line, every time. 

Becton is too expensive for what you are talking about, however. He has too many starting opportunities in the league.

Tremble needs to become this if he wants to stay in the NFL. Honestly he could be great in this role.

This was his first season playing where he was healthy. I have never seen anyone be given more chances to get healthy than this guy. I don't know what contract he will get, but someone will be gambling that he will be available.

If he could be had for back-up guard money, I'd go for him quickly, and use him situationally as an extra tight end. If he can't be, that's fine. In my fantasy scenario, we have completely remade our offense under a new and improved Bryce with an Offensive Coordinator (Canales) who finally figured out how to run the offense later in the year. 

I can dream. And all of my dreams have been wrong. We will not get Warren, Skattebo, or Becton, and all three will be major contributors wherever they go.

Not sure why the hate on Tremble. He's a very athletic TE that has an old school mentality. Loves to mix it up and plays tough. And that mofo is constantly looking to hurdle someone. He's my kind of crazy. Just needs to keep developing as a route runner and catching the dang ball in heavy traffic. And he's still very young.

Yeah, I think his success at OG will put him well out of that range. But, you are also talking about using him in a way we could likely get a versatile backup in the draft and do similar. Maybe not be the pure freak Becton is but at a reasonable price.

I don't think it's hate. I didn't agree with the size of the deal was the main issue I had. We paid him like he is a pretty good TE, which is a very much not. He is basically a blocking TE, which are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Yes, certainly if he develops into a pass catching threat the deal looks great but it's been three seasons without much in the way of development there. 

I think he just is who he is, an athletic blocking TE.
