Palmer sucks now. I view him as only a slight improvement over 2009 Jake Delhomme.

Carson Palmer 2009:

QB Rating: 83.6

Comp Prcnt: 60.5

TD/Int: 21-13

Rushing TDs: 3

Jake Delhomme 2009:

QB Rating: 59.4

Comt Prcnt: 55.5

TD/Int: 8-18

Rushing TDs: 0

Palmer had more than 3x the touchdowns with 5 less turnovers yea thats only slightly better....

If T.O. sucks so bad...is over the hill etc...how did the Bengals all of a sudden get boosted to the top of the AFC north?

.

*New Flash* The Bengals won the AFC North last year while sweeping the division. Their defense was much improved and they were a good team. That might have something to do with it more so than the signing of TO.

Will the Bengals make the Superbowl? Probably not and they might not make the playoffs for all anyone knows, but they should be in the conversation when it comes to Superbowl contenders.

Agreed. They were contenders BEFORE the TO signing...not because of the TO signing.

However, much of the media has really gotten on their bandwagon AFTER they signed TO.

My point was that TO never led his team to a Superbowl win in Philly or Dallas. He is NOT the missing piece for Cincy.
