A "heated" exchange ensued, which culminated in Slater walking to the rear of the plane, where he grabbed the intercom. "To the passenger who called me a motherf***er, f*** you!" Slater yelled, passengers tell the New York Daily News. "I've been in the business 28 years. I've had it. That's it." He activated the emergency chute and slid away.

He just wasted $75,000 of the companies money for a slide. But that is the funniest thing I heard.

He works on the plane not the ramp. Crews cant walk outside the foot print of the aircraft.

Flight Attendant is one job, I wouldn't want. Years ago, I was on a flight to Vegas and there was a couple, that was just nasty! If it had been me, I probably would have poured the pot of coffee in their laps!

The lady was loud and obnoxious and the guy wasn''t any better. She was too hot, so the attendant offered her a blanket. She complained it "smelled funny". So the attendant got her another one, then she didn't want it. The Husband said his sandwich was inedible, even thought he ate 1/2 of it. They bitched and complained the entire flight. I imagine it's even worse now, with all the cut backs. Oh, they both had seen the movie and didn't like it! The guy turned to me and said, "You wouldn't have this trouble in First Class." I tild him, that I wished they were there!
