Took out some of those catalpa worms last night and caught close to 20 cats between 4 people. The largest was only about 5-6 lbs though. Still a hot action night. The night before in the same spot, landed about 7 between two people. Not the best spot for a hot bite either, but fish will fight to the death over those caterpillars.

Got a 35 pound flathead last week while jigging for white perch. Crazy... 8 lb test line, circled the boat a few times.

You fishing Norman Zod? I've fished it a couple times for stripers in the winter. I normally fish Badin-- BIG cats there. My buddy got a 75 lb blue this spring up here, several more over 40.

Wow, now that is a big fish. I love fishing for stripers in the winter on Norman, especially when they are really on. Haven't been in quite a while though.
