You guys are looking at this completely the wrong way. Our defense will be Top 5 this year. Top 5 Pass Defense, top 10-15 Run Defense. Can't fuging wait to watch them shut the 'Aints down.

Not imo. So many things change during the season, that its rare that preseason ever really indicates how a team will perform in the regular season. We sucked in preseason last year, and turned out to be average for the season.

Our run d was bad in preseason and the first half of regular season, but most of us knew that was going to be a problem regardless of how we performed in preseason. Overall, our defense turned out to be pretty decent last year.

Jake didn't throw a single interception in preseason last year, but in the first game and the rest of the season, he was atrocious. And if memory serves, our running game and oline play was bad in preseason, but good for most of the regular season.
