So you are benching a player with 15million salary??

That's all-pro money he is right around Vita Vea and Ed Oliver!!

You can continue to defend this, but this is clear massive overpay.

You didn't my first question, try to answer this one- Did you know tershawn wharton before Panthers signed him?

You are also aware of measurables- Compare to either arob or dbrown, he's about 4 inches shorter and around 50 LBs lighter.

This was a panic signing after Milton left them at the altar.

The only saving grace is Brandt Tilis must have stood up on the table and believed he will be a future all-pro.

Keep on eye on this.

Panthers will have the most expensive backup DL in the NFL.

It was an overpay, but he and Milton Williams had similar years on similar snap counts. Ideally we would’ve held out for the draft as there are a lot of those 5tech guys this year. But it’s not a rookie position. One injury away from trotting Nick Thurman back out there even with a draft pick. Quality pass rush from the 5 comes with a price. Yes it was steep, but he gives you more pass rush than a lot of guys at that spot.

Truth be told, form afar stats-wise he does seem on miltons level and maybe better against the run.

He's small, there's not other way to said it, others can claim hes not....but how is this guy a replacement for Dbrown or Arob?? He is not and was given all-pro money.

I have gogglefu him and will report the good- Kyle Long said he was the hardest guy to block 1 vs 1.

He can eat and RIP to teppers million once he orders this-

He's got "juice" aka energy, he makes everyone rise theirs.

I hate to end on a low note- he torn a ACL in 2022

He's got to wreck and win games given his money...... Brandt Tilis has insight with the 5 years he's been watching.

The Nerd is on watch now.....

Panthers exec Brandt Tilis won 3 rings in KC. He sees a Super Bowl path for Panthers - The Athletic

    • Does anyone know what the beginning of the league year means in terms of signing FAs? Anything? Will we just see a handful of guys released into the FA pool?
    • This is an excellent synopsis!  Our WR group is a 34 year old man who has had a hellova career, but can't keep it up forever. A draft reach who only produced 1 season in college and was seen as a project with a tremendous ceiling IF he hits his potential. I really hope that 2024 was essentially a redshirt year for him. And finally a UDFA that didn't get any real time until we were more than halfway through last season. AND THAT'S ALL. We need at least 3 more players, one of which has to start day 1.
    • Oh good grief. You can give him credit for the good without just glossing over the bad and pretending like we were not absolute hot garbage at certain points last season when the games still mattered and people were just complaining to complain. Make no mistake. While we hold Morgan in regard and like him a great deal because he's a former franchise player. He has to prove he can build this team through the draft just as much as any Panthers coach or player has to prove it out there on the field. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging these plain truths.
