they were set to pay higgins a boatload of money and then draft oline, they are trying to set up maye for success early.  I never bought the travis hunter to the pats hype, they absolutely have to protect maye and getting the best pass blocker is a no brainer

What the Pats paid for Milton is two or three mid level defensive players. Makes more of a difference than 1 player. Milton isn't even as good as KK Short.
