Yas report on the Panthers

That was a pretty well written article. He was pretty optimistic but he's also more familiar with the team.

The stats can be a little deceiving about Moore. He didn't exactly light it up his first two games. He had a lot of lucky drops by the defense against the Pats. He was far from sharp. Last 3 games were very impressive and not flukes no matter how hard doubters want to say so.

Also Duke Robinson isn't the favorite at RG at all. Bernadeau is the clear cut starter right now. Robinson will be lucky to be the 6th man in power situations.

And them compare to the others who have come into the NFL from the same college. And they don't even compete! I'm not trying to dis the school. It's all about the player, and their mental make up, and their work either. Every one you mentioned was a true professional, that is never content, and constantly working hard to become the best they can be.

The others, have failed miserable.

Like I said, few and far between.

Dwayne Jarrett. As they’ve been doing for his entire career, the Panthers are hoping the light suddenly comes on for this wide receiver. He’s still running with the first team, but all indications are it’s just not happening for Jarrett. There’s still some work to be done and polish to be added, but the Panthers are starting to think rookie Brandon LaFell is their best option at the starting position opposite Smith. Jarrett basically is fighting for a roster spot at this point. The fact he’s still making mental mistakes this far into his career means there’s a good chance he’s gone before the preseason is over.

Thinks Jarret is gone.

The writing is on the wall. If LeFell can prove he can catch the ball consistently and have a good first Pre-season game I think Jarrett is gone.

Jarrett is a POS never has been, never will be. All hype from the USC bull poo media machine. Cut his ass already.

I say this team shocks and goes 10-6

It wouldn't be a shock to me if we went 10-6. I'd be disappointed if we finished anything less than that. If a #2 WR emerges, we have the making of a top scoring offense and as long as our defense remains middle of the road then we'll be fine in this year's cup cake schedule.

USC has contributed more great NFL players than any other school. That is why some of their players are sometimes overrated.

Last year USC's entire starting linebacking core was all drafted into the NFL in the 1st and 2nd round, one of them was rookie defense player of the year, the other pretty much lead his team in sacks as a rookie and the other played great until he was hurt.

I guarentee no other college has done this. I am no fan of USC but you can't argue with results.

Sure Dwayne Jarret has not show up so far but I guarentee it aint a lack of talent. And even if you look at Dwayne as a bust look no further then Ryan Kalil a former USC player who is now one of the best center's in the leauge playing for the Panthers.

Maybe we should have drafted the other Steve Smith. He played for USC with Jarret and just set the franchise record for most catches in a season for a Giants player.

Keyshawn on the other hand, well he is just overrated.
