If my wife goes into labor during a Panthers preseason game...

Recommended Posts

My wife and I had our first baby on Sunday, September 23, 2007. I can't remember if the game was home or away but we were playing the Falcons. Anyway, we left for the hospital at 12 noon, got registered and into the room. I was so nervous I had honestly forgot about the game completely. My looks at me after the nurse had left and said "Honey it's going to be a while, turn on the TV and lets watch the Panthers game!"

If I wasn't already in love with her, I would have been at that moment!

SLJ -

First bro, we gotta talk about your timing here. Football season is 5 months at most with post-season, you've got seven other months to have kids. You should have had Panther football in your line of sight before getting her knocked up.

Second - the hospital room will have a TV in it. No DVR, unfortunately, but TV with cable.

I have two kids, one born in mid-February, the other in July. That's how you get r done, my friend. All kidding aside, best of luck to you both - it's an exciting time. My baby boy just turned one a few weeks ago.

You speak the truth.

About a month ago, I found out my wife was pregnant. The due date? March 11. :D
