required learning for receivers?

You don't get to be the greatest of all time as a receiver without constant practice. The guy deserves the accolades. Never has there been a receiver who was smoother coming in and out of his cuts.

His biggest failing is that he was so good, so smooth and so practiced that it didn't look like he had to work hard on the field.

Wasn't just his work ethic. It was the things the drove him. His desire to be the best he could be. His desire to give all the fans a show. His mental mindset.

He wasn't the most athetically gifted receiver to play the game, but he is by the best receiver to play the game, and not by just a lil bit. He had great heart, determination, desire, work ethic. You can talk about the qarterbacks all you want to, and that just shows the rest of us how little you know of jerry rice's game.
