Think they intended on this. AFTER the writer's strike was resolved they scrapped the entire script and re-did it. This is why it took 2 years to come back instead of 1.

They've done it before sort of. Remember that season when Jack was after the Russian I think? (He lost his arm eventually) and then once that story ended they went after a Arab guy? (the guy that plays in the Mummy I believe). I'm waiting on Jon Voight to show up....

I heard the other day that Jennifer Anniston had contacted the producers about being on the show, but they had turned her down... dumbasses.

Boring one at that. ZZZZZzzzz. Show getting worse as the season moves on. So much different than the first 3-4 seasons, wow. OH well, still better than a lot of stuff on TV though I guess.

I enjoyed tonights episode. First time I have watched the show in a while. The Vice president was a wimp. I would have sent them in immediately.

I think the show got a little slow for a few weeks, but has hit it's stride now.

Regarding Jennifer Anniston - there was something several years ago that the show had been contacted by quite a few big names, but the producers never wanted anybody who was really big to detract from the show. If someone like Jennifer Anniston was in it, people would tune in and see her as Jane Doe. That's not what they want - they want you see only Jane Doe.
