agreed, he is a much better analyst and TV personality than a head coach. i give him credit for winning a ring, but he had alot of factors in his favor, such as mainly playing with a team that dungy built, and then being lucky that he played his old team in the bowl, and he knew theyre tendencies and weaknesses.

:iagree:

I would love to see Bill Cowher become HC of the Panthers. If this season doesn't work for john Fox and he goes. I really truly believe either JR goes after Bill or a no name unknown like he did fox 9 years ago from the Giants.:willy_nilly:

If I can get on this, I would like to say a few things on this. First I can't believe you are talking about a new HC and the Pre-season hasn't even started yet. Second, I truly believe that if you guys make the playoffs Fox will survive, but please if he does survive because of a playoff trip do not give him a big extension, there is a reason Brian Billick isn't coaching, as far as I know thanks to Steve McNair(RIP) saving his job in 2006 the Ravens are still paying him the rest of what he was owed in his new contract he got. Certainly you don't want to have a playoff year, than a down year the next year and you fire him and the Panthers are stuck paying him for another 3-4 years like the Ravens are with Billick.

Now if the Panthers have a bad season, which you shouldn't but if they have a losing season well bye bye Fox and the Front Office. I would like to see Cowher be brought in as your next Head Coach myself, sure he would have to work on changing the defense to a 3-4 since you don't have the personnel to do so but if he is brought in and your drafting high enough you could grab a 3-4 defensive lineman that would help your transition. Just don't hold on to Fox too long, if you hold on too long your new HC will have a harder time putting together his team, and what I mean by that is I can't imagine where the Ravens would be if they didn't fire Billick. Good Luck to you guys on the season and see you Nov 21st.

I'd hate to have Gruden as a HC but How much would it piss off Buc fans though if he did happen to be our HC, then leads the Panthers to a SB win? While Raheem is still fighting hard to capture that ever elusive 4th win.
