Carruth was not a bad pick just a bad person. He was talented and would have produced if he were not killing people. Kinda like Ray Lewis.

Carruth was never a great receiver, and barely showed signs that he could become one. He was a number two receiver who looked good as a rookie (although not as good as Colbert did), got hurt in his second year, and did nothing of note in his third up until he got arrested.

Considering it's been a week, and Armanti is playing a position he never has in college let alone the pros, it's foolish for him to even be on that list.

This isn't even a contest IMO. Eric Shelton not only shouldn't have been picked where the Panthers picked him nor did he not produce on the field but also look at the RB picked after him:

Frank Gore

Marion Barber

Brandon Jacobs

Darren Sproles

Ryan Grant (Undrafted)

That was the worst pick the Panthers ever made. It's one thing when you have a player that is highly thought of not produce but when everyone knows the pick was a bad pick from the begining, during his career and after, thats a bad pick.

The question wasn't who was the worst player drafted it was who was the worst pick. IMO Edwards was a bad pick, not as bad as Shelton, but still a bad pick. Could he become a great player and thus make the pick look amazing, yeah but just the simple fact that the Panthers probably could have gotten him in the 4th or 5th makes it a bad pick.

BTW, I would also add Thomas Davis to that list as well. Yes it worked itself out but to this day I still do not understand why they drafted a safety to play LB in the first round when Derrick Johnson was still on the board.

so 5 TD's is the magic number that spells success? . . wtf man, that's pretty fuggin nutty, but whatever, its your bet.

Ya know, we spent the same value draft pick for him that we did for DJ so I dont know what the problem is. DJ was less of a gamble since he was more polished and still he didnt work out (isnt working out). AE is more of a gamble but has more potential to be a bigger threat in this league. Whatever I wont get into it anymore since I know its all been said before.

I understand that many Panthers fans who lean away from AE are further pushed by jackazzes saying he's gonna put up crazy numbers right away. Nevertheless, you cant tell me youre not curious about him. . and if youre curious then you cant say it was a wasted pick cause the dude . . has. . potential.
