Was talking to DG yesterday. He made an interesting point that if Armanti continues to struggle and cannot seem to get the punt return job he may not make the active squad this season. My thinking is that no matter what he makes the squad based solely on the pride of the front office and what they spent to draft him.

I thought he played pretty well for the circumstances. THE only player to play all 4 quarters and at 3 different positions in his very first nfl game. Not to mention 4 different qb's with different releases/timing and what not. Give the dude a break, i've never seen a rookie with so much hype around him in a panthers uniform. Its not his fault the Panthers spent so much on him.

He looked horrible tonight.

Are you serious? What did he do so bad? He dropped two passes and one of em he got licked pretty good...still shoulda held on to it but come on man. He had an 18 yard return and didnt try to get to much outta the other ones. And i also never saw him start out by going backwards.
