Edwards was drafted for his talent and his potential. Although a 2nd was a little much, personally I'm glad to see us take a chance on a project that can develop into something good instead of going the safe road.

I was pleased with him. He had an 18 yard return and was smart with the other ones except for David Gettis running into him.

I didn't think he looked that bad. He seemed like he was trying to be too shifty on some of his returns. It looked like he was getting open at WR but he needs to work on his catching, and to position his body better, same goes for Gettis.

this is true..the speech was horrible. I had to turn the channel mid speech. He kept leaving words out and not finishing the stories he started.

Agreed. He just needs to relax and not try so hard to make a play on every return. The same can be said with his receiving play, although he should first worry about hauling the ball in before he does something with it .
