Just because I'm new to this board means I'm a troll? I've been posting on other Panthers boards for several years now but only reading this one. Sorry to disappoint but not a troll. I am one of the original PSL holders so I've been a Panthers fan as long as anyone on here. I just don't spend my days on message boards. I had knee sugery a few weeks ago and had a little more time on the computer. That's all, nothing more.

Why do you keep citing "because I'm new to this board"?

It has nothing to do with that. It has everything to do with you stating that you are close to an NFL scout, which is highly unlikely (statistic-wise).

You have to understand; not many people actually know NFL scouts (at all) and not many know them well enough to hear this kind of information. Given that, the chance that a poster on here knowing one is inheritly low and the chance a poster on here has some inside information (from Indy at that) is lower.

I was merely pointing that out, and I guess you didn't pick up on it at all. I wasn't even addressing the information you provided.

Would you like my family history? My family is from Indiana and most of them still live in or around Indianapolis and also in the Bloomington area. My father moved to NC in 1956 as a job transfer. I grew up in NC but went back to Indiana to college. I moved back to North Carolina when a better job presented itself. My uncle retired a full professor from Indiana University in Exercise Science, which through his work at both the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses he made contact with the Colts organization. My cousin played football in both high school and college in Indiana and it was through my uncle he made contact and got a job with the Colts.

What is really crazy is that I agree with both you and pantherfan49 that AE was taken too high for a project player. I simply stated what I was told and I took exception to being called a liar. Pantherfan is right, the information was secondhand since I was not in the draft room on that day but I took the information to be real since my cousin was. I’m sure you won’t believe this either but since it’s the truth it’s the best I can do. Good Day.

You missed my sarcasm. I don't know even one professional league scout.

I have heard through second hand sources (much the same as you claim to) that AE is a serious thug and could be a handful for the Panthers. According to my sources, AE cut his foot kicking in the glass of a store that he was robbing and not from mowing a yard on a rainy day.

Keep in mind that the day that AE was "mowing", it rained almost a full inch in Boone.

Who said I believe him? You are the one who keeps pursuing this. I'm pretty sure he wasn't serious (lol).

Then don't claim things if you aren't prepared to provide proof. I am sorry you took offense, but seriously, place yourself in someone elses shoes and evaluate the situation.
