He said last year he played at around 290 so really he is down about 11 pounds from his playing weight last year which isn't that big of a deal. By his own admission he blew up to around 300 lbs eating with Kemo in Hawaii. He is just getting down to a good playing weight. Even with training camp in full gear it seems writers are really stretching to find stories.

Only if the sacks are accompanied by being good against the run as well. We have plenty of guy who are light and fast. What we need are all around good DEs who are stout against the run and still can pressure the quarterback.

290 to 279 I think is a big deal for a DE.Johnson says he feels quicker

look of E.Brown he put on weight I definitely think that will help him.
