Kenny Moore has been the star of TC, what are his regular season expectations?

I'm loving this thread and all the responses, especially since everyone and their mom jumped on me back in april for suggesting that kenny moore was ahead of gettis going in, and would likely prevail.

There's a whole lot of kenny moore hating in that thread...

They just jumped off one bus onto another. Now Kenny Moore is our savor and is gonna become a Star!!! All because he has had two good weeks of practice. Talk about blind optimism.

We probably shouldn't get excited about any of our players showing improvement or the potential to contribute.

That has only happened 3 times from the #2 WR under Fox' watch:

2004-Keary Colbert

2006-Key

2008-Moose

Drew Carter came really close in 2007 having 38 catches and 5 TDs.

I never said anything about whether he be a #2 or whatever. Just know somebody has to step up and make some plays. Somebody other than steve smith. Where he lines up, I don't care. he has the advantage over all our rookies, as he knows the system, and busts his ass..

So instead of doubt the kid every chance ya get, why don't ya just sit back and enjoy what he brings us.

For those that have seen Moore at TC, is it Jason Carter kind of success, or does it look like it might actually carry over to the actual season? Not saying this to take anything away from Moore, but he looked pretty solid last TC and I'd hate to get hopes up like Jason Carter did the past 2 offseasons, only to be let down when the real bullets start flying.

The problem for Moore last season (IMO) was getting onto the field and having Jake as the QB. Fox went back and forth between Moore and DJ being active and we know Jake had trouble getting the ball to Panthers last season.

This is a whole new year with a whole new QB.

Damn, this is what I get for deciding to champion a player rather than look at the negative on here like usual. Now people are saying I think Moore is our "savor" and he's "gonna become a Star!!!"

By the way, I'll take the bet. LaFell won't start vs. the Giants guaranteed.

He legitimately looks great against guys like Gamble and Marshall. He's the only one that seems to not even be thinking about the actual catching part of being a receiver (that's just second-nature for him unlike the other guys right now) and is focusing more on precise route running and putting the moves on defenders once he gets out in open space. Guys like Edwards and Jarrett looked like they had major victories just if they could hang on to the ball.

How many times did Taye Biddle, Jason Carter, etc. manage to embarrass our starting corners like Moore was consistently doing to Richard Marshall last Saturday when I was there? Like others have said, Moore is doing this against our best. The Taye Biddles of the world looked great against our camp bodies that didn't make the team.
