Kenny Moore has been the star of TC, what are his regular season expectations?

Not being confrontational at all, but I watched every snap Moore took last year, and never remember him dropping a ball that he should have caught. He had a few off his fingertips that Jake airmailed into the stands, but that's it. Granted, he did muff that punt.

He dropped a few Moore passed to him late in the season. Playing the scrubs of teams or not he still dropped a few.

he dropped a punt, not a pass.you cant disappear if you are not getting the look.

Late in the season he did drop a few.

Only one rookie not drafted in the first round has ever started on Opening Day for John Fox: Charles Godfrey in 2008.

Must have forgot about Peppers or Gamble in 2004...

lmao every time I read some random dipshits placing the "practice star" moniker on Kenny Moore. Kenny is very young and progressing quite well especially considering what price tag he came with.

I have no idea what you morons want anymore. Can't even be happy when GOOD news comes out of camp.

One of the things that people don't realize about Kenny Moore is that he didn't play WR exclusively in college and had a ways to go as a WR once he made it to the NFL.

He did have enough elusiveness to play RB on an overachieving BCS bound Wake Forest team, so the talent is definitely there. He is also an honest to goodness good guy, so I hope he makes the cut and contributes to this squad. The similarities between KM and Ricky Proehl run much deeper than collegiate ties- they are both hands guys that could fill in nicely in the slot.

Ultimately, I don't think more than 3 real WRs are going to be active on game days. So that leaves Smitty, DJ, Lafell, and Kenny Moore battling out for the 3 jerseys on game days. Obviously Smitty gets one jersey. That leaves DJ, Lafell, and Moore fighting for the two remaining positions.

Lets bet some rep it switches all year long

If you're thinking Keary Colbert, keep in mind that it was Moose and 89 starting for us on Opening Day 2004 vs. Green Bay.

Colbert wasn't even active in Week 1 (this should be a reminder to everyone expecting a lot out of rookie WRs).

A certain rookie TE out of Central Florida started week 1 of the 2004 season- Michael Gaines.
