I am going to Cleveland Thanksgiving weekend to go to the game. A friend of mine is from Cleveland and he is a real life Browns fan. lol He is going home for Thanksgiving and noticed the game was that weekend, so he invited us to go up there with him. He told us not to wear our Jerseys. He said the Cleveland fans would rag the hell out of us. I dont think I can go without supporting my team. I have never been a visiting fan at any game, so this is all new to me. Should we still rock the Panthers gear or heed the warning?

if i was able to survive the NFC Championship in Philly you can survive Cleveland.

That sucks. You should've "beat they ass."

Was he that angry or traumatized or did you just feel bad?

He didn't say or do anything that deserved to be touched like that.

He deserved a lot of poo that he got it was all fun and games until we lost(Panthers) and a few Panther fans had too much to drink shoved him and his Eagles hat was knocked off...Got in the middle diffused the situation and we left quick. We are both Eagle fans born in Philly , I just turned in my Eagle card in 1995.... He paid for my ticket to the game and I drove so I had no choice but to go with him.lol

and now I hate Eagle fans with a passion except for my friend Rocco.lol

I took a friend of mine (Eagle fan) to a Panther game and he was harassed the whole damn game lol not that was a big deal. We lost that game Kasay missed like 5 field goals that day...Note to self never take a fan of the other team ever again. I almost got into a fight with a few Panther fans cause I couldn't let them pick on my friend like that they even knocked his hat off...No one got hurt and man that was a long ride home.

What an odd story. I was at that game as well and yes Kasey was horrible and the reason the Eagles won. Never had to pay for a beer the whole game because Panther fans I didn't know bought them for me. Panther fans are so nice it sickens me a bit.

i have a friend who is a steelers fan and he went to a game either at cleveland or against cleveland...when he went to the bathroom he saw a browns fan who was ready to take his head off...then his huge 6 foot 5 friend came out of the stall and send the browns fan crying to his mommy...

also, they should be used to it considering they play the steelers every year, and steelers fans always travel well

This is an odd story seeing as how every Panther game I've ever been to there are large groups of opposing fans present. I suppose it can happen... good to hear actually.

Yea i went to the saturday night panthers/cowboys game a few years back...horrible idea...I was way to drunk and tried to fight everyone I saw...

I hate the cowboys

Browns fans travel well also and are great fun IMO. When the Browns played in Charlotte a couple of years ago it was great. Pouring down rain but one of the best tailgates we have had thanks to the entertainment the Browns fans provided. People are nuts.

Funny you say that, because this Browns fan I know is one of the craziest most fun MFers I know. It must be something in the water in Cleveland.

Don't know how you could go to a game without sporting Panther Pride.

I've gone to games where the Panthers are not even playing, still sporting Panther gear. I don't go to any game period, without showing where my pride lays. If others don't like it, oh well, can't please everybody. Such as life.

The story has been told on here before but there was a group of Browns fans tailgating next to our Huddle tailgate that was insane.

Long story short, it involved a big dog cage, a big hunk of bleeding meat from a butchers shop and a long carpet and a dog bowl filled with beer.

Women, men, young and old would climb into this cage and start gnawing on a big slab of raw, bloody meat that was hanging from the top of the cage with a chain (not all of them would but some). While the did this, people would kick and rattle the cage getting them person inside into a rabid like state and they would start barking and growling. Then they would unlock the cage and the person would then speed down the carpet on all fours and chug the beer out of a big dog bowl at the end of the carpet all while being covered in blood from the raw meat. Weird stuff but entertaining for sure.
